As you are driving along 2222 towards town, right before the Jester and 2222 light there is some construction going on there which will be the future Ladera Bend. As of right now I only see a Chase Bank as far as retail is concerned, but expect more retail to be announced. There is also some professional office space as well with a parking garage.
The retail component will be a 2-story, stone & brick masonry structure and will have a grade-level access to the second floor from the north or “Main Street” side of the structure. The building will have two separate floor plates with 12,500 square feet each on the lower level and a second floor of 19,275 square feet. In addition, Phase II will contain a 3,500 square foot restaurant pad site as well as a 4,225 square foot drive through bank. The restaurant site will be of similar construction as the retail component. Half of the building is targeted towards a coffee shop, while the other half will target lunch service, such as a sandwich shop. The bank will be located at the eastern portion of the site. The building’s façade will resemble the retail and restaurant construction.
